E-flite CX2 Review

The Eflite CX2 takes the excitement and beginner-friendly flight stability of the original Blade CX and adds Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM radio control that lets you fly anywhere, anytime without ever having to worry about interference. We believe it’s the only good to fly (straight out of the box) RC helicopter with this level of advanced technolgy built in. In addition, the 4-in-1 control unit has fixed the occasional tail drift of the CX. Tail drift is virtually non-exisitent in the CX2, as a result of the developed gyro and tail control. Two S60 servos turn in, great power with clear and accurate cyclic control.

The Blade CX2s coaxial, counter-rotating blades cancel  the rotational torque that makes hovering a conventional helicopter so tough. In losing the tail rotor the CX2 compensates and provides great stability using varying rotor speeds for the two blades. This approach results in an intrinsically more stable flight under a full range of conditions.

Everything you need is in the box, and you literally fly directly out of the box once you have charged your 2 cell 7.4V 800mAH Lipo battery using the battery charger provided which has it’s own built in overcharging protection circuitary. A step by step guide to setting up your first flight is included in the pack along with a video CD to get you moving fast.
